Great golf design philosophies are numerous, but they all share one common goal; to provide the best golf experience possible. We believe that a great golf course must possess the best of all the design elements including routing, concept, clearing, earthwork, hidden but functional cart paths, grassing, bunker placement, appropriate green sizes and presentation, shot values, playability, irrigation, drainage and especially aesthetics must be 110 percent. If any one of these elements is less than 110 percent, the golf course will fail to be the best it can be.
A visit to a course designed by us provides the best understanding of what sets our designs apart from the others. We believe in spending a great deal of time on site during construction and limit our projects to two per year to assure golf design at its finest. Every course we do has to be the best. The way to make it the best is to work hard in assuring every element of the design and construction are beyond everyone’s expectations.
Golf is fun. Golf is recreation. Golf should be an enjoyable experience regardless of ones’ score or ability. The golf designer’s first responsibility is to create a memorable and exciting experience for everyone who sets foot on the course. Every golf hole should make the player’s heart beat faster when he or
she steps onto the tee. The golf hole should present several strategic
and visual options on every shot. Every approach shot should be
different and provide enough options to make the golfer think. Every
hole should be visually stunning and more importantly, visually
exciting. All holes should present dramatic challenge and
look more difficult than they play. We put tremendous effort into every design to provide a breath-taking golf
experience. When a golfer leaves the course, we want he or she to be
thinking, ‘when is the earliest I can come back and play this again?’, only then have we succeeded.
